History:
During the first World War, 1914-1918, General Durieux, an intrepid officer and fine strategist was entrusted with the most difficult and most risky missions by the top command.
He commanded the much-talked-about shock troops, including the best soldiers in the army and those who had shown incredible courage in battle. Thus, he won several battles, among those were battles deemed impossible to win.
In the evenings, after each successful battle, General Durieux would reunite the best soldiers from the battle and would share with them a first-rate bottle which was taken from his personal reserve, called le Secret des Braves (the Secret of the Couragous)…
As time passed it became less and less the sought-after fine brandy that was opened to celebrate a victory or success.
In France, many people partake in the tradition to finish a glass of Secret des Braves and make a wish. It is claimed that the wish will always comes true…

Vintage Year : XO – 12 months minimum
Soil : The Spirit is a product of the distillation of a liquid which is low in alcohol content, produced from wine, fruits, herbs or grains.
Grape Varieties:
Brandy is an “eau de vie” which results from the distillation of different French wines, carefully selected through tasting. It is distilled in a still, matured in a vat and ten aged in an oak cask.

To be served with ice or on its own, the Spirit can be served as an after-dinner brandy or as part of a cocktail.
