History:
A vineyard meant to be familial…
This is in 1999 that Alexandre de Malet Roquefort takes under one’s wing the Château Armens. Formerly Château Bonnet d’Armens, this vineyard – located in the small village of Saint-Pey d’Armens, a two-step from Saint-Emilion – belonged since many generations to be Bonnet family.
The background devoted to the renewal…
It is at the time of his retirement that Mr. Bonnet relies upon Alexandre whereof the live has always been regulated by the viticultural works within the other estates of the Malet Roquefort family.
Consequently, the new owner has engaged huge investments in order to modernize wine-making technology. Alexandre had a real crush for Château Armens, this new Grand Cru, of which he wants to reveal the character.
