History:
The history of the Comte De Gentillac could tell the tale of the history of Médoc all by itself. The Duke of Palignac became the owner in the middle of the XVIIIth century. Belonging to a noble family of legal minds, members of parliament in Bordeaux, in 1753, like his associates in the land of Médoc, he began restoring the seigniories. The Duke made the Comte De Gentillac his permanent home and continued the ancient wine-making tradition.
Today, Comte De Gentillac has retained the quality of its wine and continues, through its production, to promote the nobility of its domain.
